Islamabad police arrest bank manager for harassing female staff
Islamabad (TP) November 8, 2020: The Islamabad police have arrested a bank official after his harassing a female staff went viral on social media.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqat, who had taken notice of the matter, said in a tweet that Faisal Bank Manager Usman Gohar has been arrested by the police after the video went viral on social media. He had gone into hiding after the video went viral and Islamabad raided his house and workplace. He had also switched off his cell phone to evade the arrest.
Bank Harassment case update. The culprit Usman Gohar has been dismissed from service by the Bank. He cannot be hired by any other bank as per State Bank regulations. Raids are being conducted for his arrest. I’ll request everyone again to protect the identity of the lady.

A large number of social media users had expressed their resentment after the harassment of the female staff went viral on social media and they had demanded the Islamabad deputy commissioner and Islamabad police to arrest the culprit.
The social media users had taken the bank manager to task for harassing the female staff during the duty hours and in broad daylight with impunity.
